For my very basic taxes it was as expected. I have used this program and turbo tax in the past, turbo tax seems to give me a higher tax return than this one does.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

The product itself works great. However, the font sizes used is too small for me making it difficult for me to use, and I don't see any way to adjust that from within the application.

I have used H&R Block software for years. It is reasonably priced and effective. Reading the tax manual is not required and taxes are filed online: no trip to the post office required. The processing of the tax form is tracked.

The Federal program worked fine. I thought the planning tab could have been more straight forward, e.g., after forecasting 2026 total AGI, simply provide a forecasted tax as the amount needed to withheld in 2026.
I thought the State program should have included: a computation for the under withholding penalty and a 2026 planning tab.
Pros: Easy to prepare

The software has been used for 5 years now and I have never had a problem. It was very straightforward and easy to use however, this year I needed to include IRS form 1310, and for some reason the IRS refuses to accept the return.
