Does everything I need for Federal tax filing !!!

The software is easy to navigate. The features meet all of my tax filing needs. Importing tax data from the prior year is a time saver. I only use the Federal version because the state of Ohio has its own online filing website which is easy to use. I have used this software (also its predecessor TAXCUT) for over 30 years

downloading issues for broker data

The 2025 Deluxe program has serious issues documenting the IMPORTING of data from brokers. This is especially true for capital gains and losses and OID(original Issue Discount), etc. . Of course your supposed to check it but there's a flash of it on the screen and then it disappears. If you enter it again manually then everything is doubled. I've used the H&R Block software for many years and haven't always used or trusted the importing the brokers data for investment income . For 2025 it's terrible how you integrate it in the program, so you have to look in the workshhet...WHY?
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Software and e file for Federal but this is the second year we purchased PA State e file and it ddn't work. We spent what I will call an excessive time on phone with help person to no avail.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Had problems with the software but after four calls and your tech team working on it, it was resolved with an email sent to me with instructions on how to resolve the problem. Finished my taxes, submitted them, and just received both State and Federal Refunds. Thanks!
