I have always purchased this program every year
However this year I made an error regarding last years report and the IRS rejected it on line but there was no way I could correct the error and had to mail the report. This seemed unnecessary and costly.

Had a problem

I have a K-1 from my previous employer, the fifth largest CPA firm, which treats my retirement benefits as Guaranteed
Payments for services, not subject to Self Employment tax. They have a private letter ruling from the IRS for this treatment. Turbo tax can handle this reporting but HRBlock has a hard and fast rule that it is subject to self-employment tax. I had to report the income as "other income" to circumvent this obstacle. I will go back to turbo tax
next year. I had switched to HRBlock because Turbo Tax had a glitch on the Missouri return in handling Missouri
income tax withheld from the retirement payments. i will not be required to file in Missouri next year so that problem
will not be present.
I had an additional problem importing prior year tax data from Turbo tax, but overcame it by opening a new return
and doing the importing process again which was partially successful. When I was ready to e-file the prior year
AGI on the input form was 0 instead of the correct number. The place where the prior year AGI is entered would not respond to put in the correct AGI. I overcame it by putting the correct AGI in under my wife's name.

I have always been able to download my stock trading information. However this year Bank of America is not an option and I had to enter all of the information manually.
Since Bank of America a major national bank I never thought that there would be a problem.
