Unable to e-file return with Social Security income only. Software entered bogus business deduction when I didn't enter any business information. Software double billed me for filling state return.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Have been buying your software for a number of years. I like the convenience of downloading previous years information, especially regarding investments. I have 3 issues:
1. I am in my 70's. The print is too small and too light colored. I found in the 'read me' how to make to font a little bigger, but not big enough. Strained alot trying to read.
2. I bought the state of Missouri software and the investments in my name populated under my wife's name which is a required separation in the Missouri State form. Took a while to figure out the right way to correct.
3. The AI feature was extremely limited and not very helpful. I ended up using another AI tool to answer some basic questions. Fixing this on your end would be huge.

I had trouble installing the software. It would not even update the software. Every time I tried, it told me it could not because it could not close the program. And though I bought the Deluxe Plus State version, it would not allow me to use the state program without buying the state software again. I have lost more time and been more frustrated by your software than anything I have used in years. It seems to be time to go back to TurboTax.

The review would have been a "5" but for years your Mac OS version will not allow updating from within the software. Instead - I need to go to your download center (outside of the software), download the update, and install. This is a hassle. Can you get that fixed for 2027 (2026 tax year). ALSO, the download of the PA State version required a call to the Support desk and a workaround to ge that installed. Again, please fix this for 2027 (2026 tax year)
