Easy to use, especially for uncomplicated returns

I have used Block for years except one since the mid 90s when I worked for them in Ft. Worth and Tampa. Our return is fairly simple and our refund was received quickly. My husband’s name is first on our return, but I’m the one with tax experience.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Importing didn't work from Fidelity

I have used HR Block tax software for many years so changing brands would have been painful. When I went to import my tax forms from Fidelity, it wouldn't work which meant I had to manually enter all of the data which was time consuming and in some cases I wasn't exactly sure how to answer the questions, especially in the area of foreign tax credit. So I gave them a 3 star as the rest of the program worked well.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Tax software for year ok. Planning software for current year not good! Estimated tax payments are not very useful. Worse you can't print your own estimated tax payments on the form!

I've used H & R for years. Very easy to use. But instead of 5 free IRS filings, it would helpful to be able file 1 free state filing with maybe 4 IRS filings.
