One glitch in the program in handling treasury interest, which prevented E-File. Called and couldn't get any help. Had to manually file.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

After an update to the Deluxe plus State software I was unable to open my partially complete return. I followed the re-install process and had a multi-hour chat with technical support, but there was no solution. The HRB support person "elevated" the issue, gave me a case number, and said someone would contact me within 5 days. No one has reached out. By trial and error I was able to complete the federal return, but any attempt to transfer data to the state section (Virginia) still causes a fatal error. I've used HRB for many years, and this is the worst experience I've had. Buggy software and no answers from HRB support - terrible.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well my computer hardware could not be updated and I was not about to spend money for a new system, so I dropped them after many many years using that product and bought H&R software at a much lower price to boot. It is just as easy to use and accomplished the very same thing for less money! WIN WIN
