i have use this software since 1990 this is first year i have had issue with filing the ip pin given me by the IRS would not work in the field for its use the IRS assigned a six digit number and the field will only except a five digit no one i spoke to or chatted with was able to resolve this issue had to enter IRS website and forego using the Ip pin

Long time user over the years. It gets the job done. Three stars maybe just because I'm doing my Taxes. I do wish the software would warn you that there are still pending updates that should be installed before hitting the submit button. I submitted taxes then a few days later opened to check status and ok'd and update and my return changed causing a change in my refund amount. No notification, just a change in my tax forms and refund amount. No change history. Over the years there has not been any great additions to the software, no "that's amazing" updates.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Unable to e-file state return because of "too many 1099-DIV entries."This is a software limitation, not a state-imposed limitation. Also...no provision for foreign tax carryover from year to year, which is available on Turbo and FreeTaxUSA, as well as other programs. Ridiculous. This costs the user real money.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used HR Block for 20 years and I like it. The user interface is good and easy to understand. However, over the last few years, AZ form 323 and 348 have had issues and have not been updated from the previous years, and I have to contact an agent to report the bug and get them updated. Otherwise, the software works well and I am happy with it
