Used Tax Cut for several years but tried Turbo last year. Back with Tax Cut for 2025 as it is easier to use with a bonus of it being cheaper too!

I have been using the tax software for years now. I have been happy with the ease of use and have had no issues in filing taxes each year. The reason for the 4 stars is this year I had to purchase my state tax info to file. Before, it was free with the software but not this year. I am clearly not happy about the additional expense.

I found this more cumbersome than Turbo Tax. Had to submit twice to the IRS after a check was run by the software.

The version said I had one free state. There is no box to mark a code for my free state return. I had no choice but to mark the box to pay for the state of North Carolina, and it charged me an additional fee.
