Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Always use H&R for family taxes. This year had to do 1040 manually because of no access to schedule 1-A.

I've used the product several years. I was disappointed this year that your updates did not include the ability to import 1099 information from Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, so I had to enter all sales and cost information manually for stock and bond fund sales. It did import Fidelity, but most of my transactions were at Merrill Lynch. I understand TurboTax made those updates this year.

i am disappointed that the documents from merrill lynch are not able to import.
i use merrill and i did not like having to enter everything manually.
if this does not change i will most likely switch to turbo tax.
