I’ve been using this software for several years and it always performed fine. What I would like to see in a report would be the tax calculation in detail, expressing the incremental tax rate and how close I am to the next tax rate up or down. As a retiree, that info helps plan IRA withdrawal rates.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I used TurboTax for 30+ years and liked the ability to download the software for privacy as Block makes available. Since they have backed off the "web based only", I may go back to them for 2027. My suggestions for Block are small, mostly due to navigation issues caused by looking for protocols & procedures used by TurboTax. i also found a apparent "dead end" in printing 1040-ES forms for tax year 2027.Turbo did this smoothly and automatically.
Pros: Easy to import documents
