Poor federal disbursement

Software allows you to request paper checks for federal disbursements. Should provide further detail to this being phased out. Now more delay, hassle and paperwork to provide bank information to provide bank information that could have easily been avoided.

Electronically filing the state taxes was a waste!

Using product for 12+ years with no problems. First year that I filed state taxes electronically and the first year that I had a problem. It was accepted but the program did not provide the state with all of the required documents!!? I had to send in a paper copy! Waste of time and money. Could not get a refund for the filing fee!!!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Warning: bank acct info dissappears after filing

Better price than TaxCut, for similar product. Both products tend to steer the user to IRS instructions for anything slightly deviating from mainstream.
When entering bank routing and account number for refund or tax due these numbers are replace ld with ***** for "our protection". However, after filing there does not appear to be any way to retrieve this bank account info.
