For the last few years updates have been impossible. Click on the icon to update and message after message that the download cannot be processed. Have to go to the update center and manually download and install the update.
This coupled with bugs in the input and retention process make this second rate software at the best. Unfortunately our only alternative is as bad.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was the first year with this product, after several years with another, so there was a learning curve. Once I got past that, it was very straightforward, and easily did what I needed.

As always, H&R Block Deluxe 2025 Software made it easy to complete my taxes. Was a little disappointed that when I filed there were still warnings in the accuracy check that has nothing to do with the return itself but with estimated taxes for the coming year that couldn't be completely eliminated.

I have been using HR Block tax programs for more than 25 yrs. It does the work quickly and accurately. I used it early on with my business and it made light work of depreciation and investment income. I would never change to another program. It is getting quite expensive however especially for simple returns. Simple due to tax code changes and retirement.
