Correct calculations; wrong e-filing instructions

I was very pleased with my experience using the 2024 Deluxe Federal + State software so expected a similar experience with the 2025 software. Calculations and forms were accurate but I was unable to print a hard copy from a saved pdf file printed from the software. I also could find no option to print select pages. I had to print pages I didn't need to get the ones I wanted. The cover letter and filing instructions for e-filing my federal return would not print. The only cover letter that would print was for mailing a hard copy of my return. I worked with the chat bot to resolve and was assured my issue would be forwarded to the update team for the next update. I waited to e-file in anticipation of this correction, but it was not corrected in that update. I submitted this issue to the Help contact email address. I never received acknowledgement but waited another week for the next update before efiling, but it still would only print the standard mailing filing instructions.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

This is my 7th year using the software. Each year, when you get ready to e-file, you have to install an update. Updating the software on an iMac has never worked; the install dies as the update starts. I have to go to the website to get the update and install it by hand. Then I can e-file.
WHY after all these years hasn't this been fixed?? Doesn't anyone read the reviews?
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Some fields are required to eFile but are not necessary. I submitted 2 questions several days ago to Support and still hadn't heard back. The rest of the tool was good. I had to Google to guess at the answers so I can submit via eFile. I am crossing my fingers.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
