I have used this software for a few years now and find it to be satisfactory in preparing my taxes. I wish some of the items had better explanations. I had to do independent research on some items as the software did not explain it well

I am not tech savvy. Was able to download the program and reasonably easy to do my own taxes. Hardest part is having assembled all the documentation. Then it is plug and chug.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I switched to HR Block because TurboTax stopped working with Windows 10. Overall the software did the job. The taxes are done and filed. However, definitely less user friendly than Turbotax.
You cannot see the whole picture, everything is in pieces, have to go to certain forms to see exactly how it was calculated. Very hard to get rid of unnecessary forms if the system decided you need them. At some point had to delete imported data from the financial institution and re-entry manually, for could not see imported data in details and had a feeling something is missing. The software is nor bad at all, but you have to trust it is accurate and it is hard to do when you are first time user.

Loved how simple the software is, would have like more details around when a particular credit was given and why. Hitting "back and review", was not a good experience. Deleting forms took several attempts, this could be better. Otherwise pleased and waiting for the IRS to finalize.
