I have been using H & R block for filing federal and state taxes for many many years. Easy to install and easy to use. It guides you step by step starting from various sources of income to various deductions and credits. It imports data from bank, brokerage and w2 information. I would highly recommend to try it and save big on fees to accountants! Also software is not expensive.

The flow seemed confusing. I had to do a lot corrections and backing up because the directions seemed hard to follow.. I have used the older versions of the software but this version had some twists and turns. Then I was charged twice to file my efile state formsmm

The only major problem I found with the software was when you import a W2, it would never upload the state income tax information forcing me to manually enter W2s.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I could not find where to deduct dividends which were from purchasing government obligation. It is for state tax. Not sure I missed it or ?
