The only complaint that I have with the download software v the online version is the fact that I have to pay for the download and yet you charge me to file a State return. With the online version both fed and state are free.

I usually used TurboTax for my taxes. However for this year TurboTax requires Windows 11 which I do not have so I decided to try out the HR Block offering. It worked fine on my Windows 10 computer and completed my federal & state forms fairly easily. I expect you will move to Windows 11 functionality which will require I purchase a Windows 11 capable computer.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for my Windows 10 PC which was not supported by my previous TurboTax. It worked fine importing my TurboTax data from last year. Just filed both my Federal and State taxes with no issues. I even received my refund just 5 days after filing.
Only suggestion is that the user interface is not as clean or user friendly as TurboTax.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I bought this instead of turbo tax since it no longer runs on Windows 10. It was a bit more challenging since I have used TT for about 10 years, but I'm sure will be easier next year. One not so good thing was that my bank, Wells Fargo, N.A., was not listed as a financial institution that I could import data. Why?? There than that, all was well.
