I was disappointed to find my last year agi was incorrectly brought in at about half what it should be and then was rejected by IRS. Then when I resubmitted I was charged the state fee again.

H&R. Block 2025 Deluxe + State with AI apparently

I purchased this software on line a few weeks ago. I downloaded it on my mini-max system, which is a first for me. The download went well plus bringing my 2024 over. I have been using your product for years, but this year was a big disappointment. Entries would change on the fly and I would have to go back over line by line to double and triple check the entry. I went from a nice refund to owing a couple thousand dollars for making almost no change other than an account number. Data was not stable. In one case I was not allowed to enter a number that came right from Fidelity. I rekeyed it over and over and finally left the spot blank. I was on the verge of buying Turbo Tax and read reviews that said they were not doing so well either for some folks. After the latest update things seemed to settle down, but I am very disappointed in the total amount of work I needed to do over and over again until I felt things were good. I even had an NC tax paid entry out of the blue where none was taken out. If my case was the norm you will have a lot of audits and explain to do in the future. Maybe the big beautiful bill was too much for you. Keep AI out of it and let the consumer enter data that has been provided by the financial company. Normally I I would have no problem recommending this software, but not this year.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
