Federal worked fine and efiled without problems. Maine state had an error that I reported to you. It took a week to get a fix. Maine state is still messing up my email on printed form. I e-filed anyway because you said no more Maine updates were coming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The software is buggy.
It took numerous tries to load my 2024 HRB tax data. Once it said it had successfully loaded last year's data, it then forced me to enter the same data manually.
The software is not flexible. If you somehow miss an HRB question, God help you to find a way to enter vital data in a tax form (for example, taxes paid during the year by taxpayer).
I am going back to TurboTax next year.

Not intuitive it's difficult to go back to make changes.
In the past I used Turbo Tax and it was much easier to use. Unfortunately, Turbo Tax requires Windows 11 which I don't have. Turbo Tax is a far superior product, and I recommend that if your computer has Widows 11 use Turbo Tax.

Unsupported form cause big issues

In order to get a rebate on an EV charger I had to fill out some unsupported forms. That was OK as they are commonly used. I had to overwrite a field to put in the result. The software did not add in my over write, so I had to over write the total. Then I had to over write the entry on the 1040! And then to top it off, once you over write a field you are no longer able to e_file.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
