Another excellent year for the HRBlock program
on March 7, 2026

This is now the 15th year I've used H&R Block's software to prepare my taxes. As always, the software is extremely easy to use, especially for someone that first learned to do their taxes by following the line-by-line Federal and state income tax return instructions. The software has plenty of helpful information in it, & links directly to the appropriate IRS and state FAQs and instructions if you need additional information.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I’ve been using HR Block software for years. As in prior years, it gave the option to receive a Fed. refund by check, which I chose. This was the beginning of my trouble. The Govt. Phased out check refunds Sept. 30, 2025.
