Worked perfectly. Upon opening it finds last years filing and fills in name and address, etc., automatically. Just edit last years info and update with current details.

I like how easy this software is to use and have been using it for several years now. My only reason for rating it 4 starts and not 5 is that the accuracy/form check can be a little confusing. For example, it wants me to select an option on a form without giving additional information that might help be determine the most accurate selection.

It gave me a good refund and was thorough, the software itself though was not the most intuitive and you have no option of having a human help you out from what I saw. Solid option but you do need to comb through the actually paperwork and due more diligence compared to TurboTax, i did get a higher refund here though.

Software error H&R Block apparently not interested

Have used H&R Tax software for years. This year I ran into a software bug and there was no way to report it. The AI & Chat process was useless. I'm disappointed in the customer interface. The issue was e-filing a South Carolina 2025 State return with a deceased partner on a joint filing. The program said it couldn't be done, but South Carolina law says differently. TURBO Tax does not have this issue. All I wasted to do was report the software error, but the corporate position does not appear interested in malfunctions within their software product.
