I used H&R Block Deluxe (HRBD) tax software for the first time this year and had a good experience for the most part. Since I have been retired for 20 years, I am required to take the RMDs from my IRA accounts. The HRBD software never mentioned the term RMD and instead called them something like "Excess accumulations" or something similar. The questions were very confusing and vague regarding this type of income. I went ahead and filed the returns and so far the state and federal sites indicate they were accepted.
