You need to refine the "Guide me" logic in the filing status selection guide. I had imported data from my 2024 filing which contained data on my 40 year old dependent son. The interview failed to check his birthday and mistakenly chose my filing status as Qualifying Surviving Spouse instead of Head of Household. This led to multiple rejections of my federal form when I submitted my e-filing of my return. It wasn't until I started a new return without importing the previous return, that the return was accepted.

It did the job and saves a lot,of time. My biggest issue was that I installed it on my desktop computer in my home location, and then when I tried to install the program on my second laptop computer because we were traveling to our second home, where we would be for the next 3 months, I couldn’t install it. I called your tech department, and one lady helped me get itminstalled using another code, and it finally worked for me. It looked as if something had changed with the licensing permissions so it could only be installed on one computer. If that is the case, that would be bad.

Forms take too long to be approved by IRS. Software gets less user friend year after year. It's difficult to follow which forms or worksheets input feed.

Have been using H&R Block for a number of years. The only issue I had this one was that my military retirement 1099-R triggered questions that do not apply to military retirements. It took me a while to zero out of the portion of the questionnaire.
