This is the first time that I've used H&R Block. It is not user friendly. It really needs some software improvements. I'm not sure if I even e-filed. While e-filing a message came up that I needed to do an update first. BUT I had done an update just minutes earlier before printing return.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the program. My wife and I went through the product. It was very easy to use. But when we got to the 4or 5 numbers it was sent back to us. We had to correct the problems it would not let us. So we put in last years taxes amount and it would still not let us send it. So we printed it and mailed it, we knew we would have to wait 2-3 months. Probably won’t use your product anymore.

I've used this software for years. Easy to follow and file electronically. Only complaint this year is I was not given status report when my taxes were processed, approved by IRS and refund issued. In the past, I got status reports.

I use ONLY H&R Bock software for taxes. About 4 years ago, I tried another tax software. I felt like the IRS was breathing down my back each time I opened that software. I highly recommend H&R Tax program since it is user friendly.
