The software works very well for putting together a tax return, and a simple one at that. The only negative criticism I have is when I am finished doing my return, have followed directions explicitly and have made all my entries as per your instructions, and then hit the review button, it is absolutely annoying when a message pops up, "you need to fix this....". I don't understand why the software doesn't ask that specific question when preparing the return. Why wait until I have done everything I was required to do and then tell me I didn't do something.

Said we owed a penalty for not withdrawing enough RMD.. we took out well over the IRS calculated amount. Bought TurboTax and answered all questions the same way and there was no penalty. Something wrong w ur software or question sequence.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
