I bought the Federal + State version at the end of filing my 2024 return. As in previous years I had problems installing and updating the Mac version and the uopdates. I had to contact support each time I had do install/update my software. Support sent me a file each time so I could manually install the updates. Once everything was installed the software worked fine and I was able to. successfully file my return.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Could not open the free state. I had to purchase the state separately and then it worked. Don’t know whether it was my mistake or theirs. Never had that problem before.
