Poor software. No example help & state software was even worse.

Used to get disks, now have to download, price is much higher, many alternatives. been us block software for 25 years but next year will probably use something else

I am retired and took out the maximum distribution as required. However, the software wanted to know how much I contributed to my 401K. Being retired and not employed, I contribute NOTHING. I withdraw money. I could not get past that awful screen. It took my distribution as a contribution to my retirement fund and wanted to tax me on it. I played heck with that screen> I finally put in all 0"s dollars for a dollar amount and got past the screen. BTW, A.I. was no help. Seems H&R is high on A.I.? Seems every year I get stumped one way or another on their software and have to work my way thru it.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
