I have been using H&R Block tax software for 16 years. Always easy to use and never any kind of problem with returns.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

We have used your software for a number of years and every year we have had to call to get the plug-in for the state program even though we purchased the Deluxe with State. It is very frustrating to have do this extra step.

The interface between 1099-R worksheet and main Fed form left a lot to be desired. It took me hours to sort out bix 15 and 16. The audit software kept refusing to validate until I figured out what was being asked for. There was no help available for this problem. I eventually tried numerous combinations until I cracked the code.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lacking detailed college tuition/529 worksheets

The worksheets regarding 529 withdrawal and college tuition payments were different between the online version and the download version. The download version did not have as much detail in the worksheets and lacked the chat feature to discuss concerns with an actual person. I will be looking for an in person tax accountant next year to verify this portion of my taxes.
