I use H&R Block tax software every year and have done so for over 20 years. I trust the product. It's always on time, easy to use and reliable. Changes to tax law are added to each year's release and the precise wording that accompanies the new menu item{s) reflects the change in an easy-to-understand way, giving uses confidence that the software is up to date. I've never been questioned on my returns, Federal or State. I wouldn't use any other tax software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

The software worked fine with one mature exception. After filing my returns, there was an update that significantly changed my refund amount. It is disturbing that in the third week of February software was not ready for use. Consider blocking filing when you know there are updates coming. Very disappointing.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
