I have used hr block for many years federal program seems to check all the boxes. It is easy to understand and the program for the most part is user friendly. The state program is where they could do a better job. They overlook some key tax credits that can make a difference between making a payment or receiving a substantial state refund. If you override the program to incorporate such tax credits then your stuck mailing the return instead of efile.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
