Very easy to use, especially when it's able to import tax forms. I've been using H&R Block software to do my tax returns for many years and have never had an issue with accuracy.

This year's H&RBlock Deluxe 2025 version is weak.

Very disappointed in this year's software. Both W2's failed to import correctly from payroll systems. Import from financial institution caused duplicate forms. Had to restart my returns 2 times.
Ended up doing more work reviewing results than I would if I'd done my taxes manually. Lost all confidence in the software and there's a very good chance I'll use a different product next year.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product was easy to use, but after 3 weeks waiting for my refund, I received a letter from the IRS asking to verify my identity. I'm not sure why, but I am in the process of providing the necessary documents to prove who I am. This has never happened and I wonder why now after using your product???

This is at least my sixth year using H&R Block tax software, and it has always been reliable. Most calculations are straightforward, although they don't explain how they calculated the taxable portion of pensions: I cannot find the Simplified Method Worksheet in their program.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!
