11th year to use this program and never an issue. Straight forward and easy to use. Buy it on Black Friday and it is a terrific value....
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

The software does not allow me to save an Adobe pdf digitial copy to my laptop. The software provides some sort of alternate pdf software that I was unable to download after several attempts.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Found an issue

I've used this program for years with no problem. This year there was a hitch. This years federal 1040 has a box to check (located on the right side immediately under the "Spouse's social security number" box) if your main home was in the US for more than half of 2025. The program instructions don't include this step and the program misses an Earned Income Credit. You have to check the box directly on the form.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I have been using this product for many years. When we sold our house and moved to a senior living facility in another state, we had a complicated year. It was no problem with this tax program. We now have an investment fund with dividends, interest, long and short term gains and losses. Again, no problem.

New H&R desktop app user

I was somewhat satisfied w/ H&R, although I'm a 30 user of TT. It was somewhat easy to transfer data into program. I found some topics lacked clarity or difficult to remove or correct. I would have liked better options for forms and worksheets to download or save for my records and future use-- all or nothing made for a lot of bulky paper in my files.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
