This is a recurrent problem. I fill in the initial, and click to register, and it never happens. So I go in anyway. I was never told that I registered the software, but it worked and I could e-file.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using H&R Block tax software for 27 years, I have the records to prove it! And there's a reason for this. The software, which is as close to flawless as any software can be, makes my doing my taxes easy. In 27 years, I have NEVER had to contact them with a question. That's quite a record. Not only that, but it saves me the expense of having to pay someone to do them. But even before that, I know it sounds strange, but doing taxes is actually fun (up until the point I have to actually PAY :) ). I highly recommend this product, it has NEVER made a mistake in 27 years that caused the IRS to contact me.

Have been using this for taxes for years and have given 5 stars until this year.
Software failed to warn or pick out a mistake on the energy credit that caused my return to be rejected by the IRS. The IRS (thankfully) noticed the error and gave me the opportunity to correct the mistake and resubmit.

I have been using HR Block/Tax Cut for more than 30 years and although there are other ( some cheaper or free) i am comfortable with the product and satisfied with the results.
Getting data from previous year is a time saver and helps to ensure accuracy.

Been a turbo tax user for 30 years. Tried H&R this year because of product price. All about the same until I went to file in Delaware as a non resident and the program couldn't do it.
