Federal is excellent as always but the state portions (VA and OH) were not useful to me. These were part-year filings and each state handles part year differently. I decided to file manually on paper.

I give the H&R Block product 5 Stars for being precise and easy to use related to current tax law underpinnings. Also very easy to import previous years returns.
4 Stars overall because it's sometimes difficult/clunky to scroll down through individual worksheet pages when providing input.

I don't know if I got the best treatment for my tax year. It was surprising awkward compared to prior tax years. Somehow I missed the entry for IP pin and my federal review was rejected. As a result my paid for state return was put on hold. When I fixed and resubmitted my federal return, I could not resubmit my state without having to pay again to file it; so I filed my state by mail incurring the cost of certification and return signature.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
