Been using H&R Block software for years, and I find it accurate and fairly easy to use! I believe it has yielded the maximum Federal and State returns to which I am entitled!
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents

I have used it for 2 years now. It easily imported important information from last year. Only problem was I missed checking the line for putting in my IRS ID PIN because it is nestled in with a group of other questions that no way pertained to me. As a result, my first submission to the IRS was rejected, then they charged me again for the State filing...it would not let me complete the taxes and send without charging again. I had to call and have it credited, but they did so without problem.

No state electronic filing allowed with Long term

Deluxe federal and state. This 2025 version did not work for electronic filing of Colo state due to my having Long term care. The software was fine but couldn't electronic file.
