I love using your software and would have given a 5 rating but every year when I enter my required RMD I have a problem. I enter my 1099R for my RMD and it’s the only distribution I get from my IRA but the software always says I either have excess accumulation or it says I didn’t take my required distribution. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Why can’t you have a question asking is this my RND? I think that would clear up the problems I’m having and make it a lot easier.

I've used your products for about 15 years, and the 2025 Deluxe Federal and State is disappointing. It's glitchy, locks-up for several minutes, lacking useful help for the required minimum distributions of pensions. The state product did not give appropriate help for Homestead property tax credits pertaining to mobile homes, using only one rate for monthly lot rent assuming it applied to all 12 months.

I have been using this program for over 10 years. This was the worst program of all. It shut down 3 times improperly, when my IMac Air (2023) was idle. I had to re-input some lost data. It also allowed me to put in duplicate 1099- NECs (one in business expenses) and one in other income, so my taxes were incorrectly high. Fortunately in my review, i caught the error. It should have flagged that in things to check. Only positive thing ihave to say is it was inexpensive, but since you pay for state, it ends up being more expensive than alternates. I may have to make the switch to Turbo next year. Max Deluxe downloaded

This is the 11th year of using H&R Block software to prepare my taxes. No issues, no problems. But, my taxes are pretty simple: Senior Citizen, Standard deduction, no wages, some investment income. This year I filed my Federal & State returns less than 48 hours after I got all my 1099's.
Pros: Easy to prepare
