Needs Improvement.

I really like the ease of being able to have a pdf file of my W2 being read and the data captured and preloaded unto the federal form. But, not all the fields on the 1040 form as loaded. Prime example is that the area for box 14 of the W2 is not captured and loaded. And speaking of box 14, some of the codes used on the W2 are NOT available on the dropdown box, i.e. IRC132 is not on the dropdown box, nor SDI for New York state.
Overall though I would recommend H&R Block tax software.

Great program but with Bad glitch

The federal FREE e-file activation key did not work after trying for over a half hour, finally gave up and paid for the federal e-file.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Delayed Notification of Acceptance

My Federal Return was Accepted by the IRS Per Your Program on 02/06/2026. Why am I just receiving email notice that it was just received and accepted? Could it be because I am receiving a refund this year instead of a balance due?
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I woke up this morning to emails that my Federal return was submitted and rejected. I received my refund last week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A difficult year

Just dreadful. I've been purchasing these products for years, and by far this one was the most non-intuitive to follow. I've never had a problem until this year, and IRS is calling for more information.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Adequate but confusing

I purchased the Deluxe software and found the print is small and difficult to read, Directions (to me) are confusing. I filled out the forms and e-filed with no real problems but cannot find the copies on the software.
I also filed an amended 1040X by mistake as when I went to print, it apparently e-filed it (4 times) and I am not certain it was fully completed. I cannot find a copy on the software. This is probably operator error but Ai cannot help with this.
