Does All the Donkey Work

This software will breeze you through 99% of tax situations, even if you have little understanding of the regulations involved. If you encounter a more specialized situation, or if you want a more detailed explanation of what's going on, sophisticated help and explanations are immediately available within the software,.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

H7R Block is much more difficult to use than TurboTax. When I printed out my returns to review I did not get any work sheets so I could determine how the program came up with the entries Turbo Tax allows you to review work sheets before you submit the completed forms.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Easy to preparem just follow their instructions

I have been using H&R Block for several years and always look forward to great guidance to prepare this years return. Instructions are easy to follow and keep you from making unnecessary errors by deviating from their instructions, I had a business in the past and used the package that included those special forms. Now that I retired I use the Deluxe Package and follow their easy to follow instructions .
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

When I was at the end of the review and finishing up there was a red warning flag to check for updates. I did that in the tools bar and said none at this time. Why do we do this? The screen would not let me forward so I just clicked on finish. Hope this does not cause a problem in filing. This can confuse some people if they do not know what or how to do this even thru the instructions.

Cons: Time consuming

I am not a fan of Online and Personal Device apps.
The PC/Laptop version is best for me.
Only issues was the download from my Financial Advisor.

Not a Good Choice

This year the software seems harder to navigate-less user intuitive and "clunky." Long time user (switched from a competitor) of H & R Tax Software too. Really disappointed in using this this year.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No tax on overtime

Excellent tax software. However, you need to do a better job of explaining the no tax on overtime deduction.
For example, when the overtime is double-time you can only deduct the equivalent of 1/2 time, not the double time. This needs to be explained in your notes. Other than that, great software as usual.
