The software has a lot of breadth. But its user interface and navigation capabilities seem dated and designed for accountants. The interview process is thorough. Yet, for more basic filers, the interview labors through many items that often don't apply. As an example, if one knows they're taking the standard deduction, let the user select that up front rather than being guided through an itemized deduction, the outcome of which, is pre-determined.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
