Long time user and first bad experience. The software didn’t have the federal form for electric vehicle credit. I understand the IRS hadn’t finished the form. But I had to get that from an internet search. The software kept telling me the form would be ready the next week. Then when the form was ready the filing with the IRS got an error. I was told the fix would be ready in a week. Just felt strung along and think the messaging could’ve been better. Like, we’ll notify you when the form is ready to set my expectations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I couldn’t file because the software required an update. When I called service to see when the update would happen, I got bad information every time. I’m giving you a 1 because 0 wasn’t an option. Don’t count on me ever purchasing your product again.

I've been using turbotax since the late 90's. I tried H & R one time, but much of the process was cumbersome. The import from turbotax was flawed and my experience was poor.
Fast forward H & R Block 2023. Import from turbotax was flawless, set-up was a breeze and my finished taxes were transmitted electronically without a hitch. It was great.
