Submission of returns is poor and difficult to follow; Hard to know how to transition from completed returns.

I have used the software for several years and it is very good. I had a complex iss it this year and I could not get a hold of a live person to resolve the issue. So that service needs to improve. Luckily I resolved it on my own.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Found that the program is well integrated with financial institutions and much of tax info is quickly taken care of automatically. Makes doing taxes much easier.

Waited for updates before I can start doing federal returns in March 2024 and then I had to waited for another updates for almost 2 weeks before I can file my competed return electronically. Terrible service and product!
Cons: Time consuming

I bought the software in late January and entered my data early to mid February. In late Febuary after I had entered all my data the system told me that it was unable to process my deduction for purchasing an all electric vehicle. It kept telling me I needed to wait for a software update which was due next Friday. This happened about 4 times until it finally accepted my data and told me I was due $5k refund. Then I tried to file my return and was told they were not able to transmit my forms successfully and that they were refused by the IRS. The also said I would have to wait for the next software update which was due in one to two weeks. This happened several times and it was not until about April 1 when I was able to successfully file my return. I did receive my refund about 10 days later. Do not appreciate having to wait almost 2 months to receive me $5009 refund. Money I could have put to good use.
