You Missed an Account in the Financial Downloads!

When I downloaded financial information ... you missed an account, which contained a 1099-B Capital LOSS ... and created an error that cost me $600 on my refund. I did not find the error until way after I had e-Filed ... and was paid the lower refund. Now I have to send in an Amended Return. Costing me time .. and the prospect of losing it! Please fix it .. or make sure that the interview double checks for all accounts. I still recommend this over other tax programs, and certainly over direct online services of any kind.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Great product, though I found it not very helpful when you don’t understand what the product is asking you to input. Example: Cost basis on a Traditional IRA. Most people did not make nondeductible contributions and your “help” section did not explain what you were looking for.

The software is quite complete and relatively self-guided, however it's not free of flaws. For starters, the "help" or "additional info" function doesn't work. This is an issue if you are trying to learn more about a topic or entry in the forms. Also it is difficult and not well explained how to add entries to some if the forms. Again, the software help popups are not really...helpful

Cons: Time consuming

I always have documents that trickle in late and found going back into to program very difficult. I also wanted to delete a document and couldn't so I had to mail my taxes this time. VERY annoying.
