The calculation of taxes was wrong for Oregon, the kicker due me was underestimated by several hundred. The cost of paying IRS taxes was a surprise, you may have mentioned it somewhere but i didnt see it until i was at the point of entering my CC when paying federal taxes. In hind sight sending a check would have been easy and much more economic. The instruction for what to include for my Colorado return was confusing again. I should have sent both states electronically,

I have used HR Block Tax Software for several years. For 2023 tax return, HR Block software supported quick and easy tax filing. Liked the import feature that brings in last year’s return info and makes it easy to import various tax forms. Also, the product has affordable price and great efile feature functionality.

I have used HR block/tax cut for many years this year’s the first year. I’ve been somewhat disappointed. I did not like that I could not order a back up disk like I did last year. Also, for some reason no matter how hard I tried, I could not import my information from last year’s taxes so I had to manually put all my information in. It was an extra hassle, and I actually made an error on my birthdate Which caused me to have to go through an extra step to correct my return as I had already submitted it. I’m seriously hoping that next year will be easier like all the other many years I’ve used this software otherwise I may decide to change to a different brand.

Cons: Hard to import documents
