HR block has not kept up with the times. This is just a glorified form filler. It works well for a single w2 filer. It does fairly okay for only few special cases.
It has very limited intelligence to connect various forms together. It puts the burden of figuring out which forms to fill And where to go and which forms to add for anything even slightly complicated.
There software has not been updated for years and has a very windows 2000 feel to it.
It’s unclear how much of your personal information is stored on HRB servers and what measures are in place to secure it.

I had to wait 2 months that took up to March 28 to finish my return because documents for underpayment were not completed - over 3 months after year end is ridiculous
