The program was difficult to use for me because I had some unusual Dividends, stock and interest issues. Also the filing of my return was delayed because of a software issue.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I tried to eFile federal and Arizona three times and it failed every time. However my credit card was charged the state eFile fee three times although this was eventually reversed. I finally eFile federal only successfully, but was not able to retry state filing until federal was accepted a few days later and it failed again, so I had to file state late on paper by mail
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my third year using H&R Block software. I have found that I can get it done in one day vs a week with Turbo Tax. I have found that this software covers all corners of the tax file and even my financial planner likes the results.
Many bugs in this software this year. Adobe printing doesn't work. Servers failed on Tax Day. Massachusetts Health Insurance section does not handle Medicare. Massachusetts forms will not online file with deductions. etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Return completion was easy as always but filling my return this year was hair raising as your filling system was down from 9pm on 4/14 until 2pm on 4/15. That is totally unacceptable!

Overall, easy to use, helpful hints and explanations when sought, and with one significant exception was very pleased. Strongly recommend you upgrade/modify how you treat Minimum Required Distributions. Should have specific page just for this. List any MRD's, including amount required.. On Same Page, list any amount that was submitted. Right now software does not allow this clear linkage, blending too many different issues together. That part was both confusing and frustrating, and some other tax prep software at same price point handles this in a much easier, clearer way.

Completing the return was fairly straightforward, but the e-file process was a nightmare due to your outage of several hours on 4/15. I ended up losing time from work preparing to print and mail the return, because you couldn't provide information/ETA on resolution. Then my state return was rejected, and there was no instruction on how to find the reason for rejection. I spent an hour on the phone with your agent to find the reject reason. It's the first and last time I will use your software for filing my state return .
