It gets the job done. And I assume that's sufficient to get sales when considering the options. But the user interface feels like it could use work to make it more friendly: One example being that it would be nice if you could make text within the program larger for those who have trouble with smaller text.
While there are a large number of explanations within the program for certain terms and to elaborate on questions being asked, it still feels like there are plenty of items that could use improved direction and explanation. Additionally, there are various times within the program with the software prepopulates data with no explanation of where the info came from. For items like this, it would be nice if you could simply hover over a question mark box or something and have a popup that indicates where the data came from.... mainly to alleviate any concern that the info may be wrong.
Another suggestion that I think would be nice to incorporate would be a history of changes to what you own or are to be refunded. Currently, the program does a good job of highlighting the most recent change (decrease or increase). It would be nice if there were an option next to this that displayed a change log. It could include details on the amount of change, when it happened, and what caused the specific change.

It downloaded my previous year info fine. I had to scroll through the program several times to make sure it accounted for everything that I knew about. I always have problems with the foreign tax credit, which takes a lot of massaging to get it to show correctly. I am not sure the cost savings were worth the extra time.

I have used this product for years. Because of the processing delay on April 14 I will never use it again.

I am satisfied with the product. I've been using it for many, many years, and my expectations are high! I'm not happy with the STATE software hike in price. I think it is unfair.
When I was ready to e-file it jumped to a new download and did not return to were I was so I didn’t know if it sent to IRS or not. I waited a few days then checked the app again and so the day before filling deadline it says not filed. So after about 15 attempts to send I printed it out and mailed it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare

You allowed us to file a return that got immediately rejected by the IRS. It was all about the 1095-A. Something similar happened last year. Get your act together.
