I have been using the product for over 15 years and never had much of an issue. This season they had a major outage that almost had thousands of customers late on taxes. Hope they learned and correct the mistake for next year.

Had issues submitting taxes on 4/14 through 4/15 and all that was communicated through the app was that it was an issue on my end.

We went to file our taxes on the evening of the 14th knowing that we could efile. When we attempted to efile, We kept getting a "Bad Gateway" message. We were charged for each attempt to file and these aren't pending charges. I'm going to have to dispute them.
Cons: Hard to prepare

I’ve been using the Mac app for several years. It makes filing easy and I have few complaints. This year, however, I was a victim of your backing infrastructure having issues, getting “bad gateway” errors. I’m a web developer and would recommend that you have a public server status page that I could refer to when errors like this happen. Being able to see a red status in your side would have prevented me from trying multiple times (and getting multiple pending charges) and would go a long way to making me feel better about the problem, knowing that you know there’s an issue and are working on it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
