I like the simplicity with a consistent interface of going through Q & A and input your numbers. You can even jump to specific sections of it like Income, Deductions, Taxes etc. Have been using it for 4 years... Don't need State but efiling has been a breeze.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I ended spending 4 hours because the software importing capability is very poor and I had to file my taxes twice. I will not buy it in future
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Efile experience on 4/14 and 4/15 were terrible

HR block efile returned bad gateway errors from evening of 4/14 to until 3pm CT 4/15. It’s a long worrying waiting period. The company didn’t have info about the outage communicated. This was terrible.

The program definitely made tax filing easier. I think this year's version was less intuitive -harder to follow. And there were some glitches that took a lot of time to get around, such as the program's inability to accept a 1099 Misc. that included both rentals and royalties.

The software did not transfer my interview question for w 2 text withholding onto the form and so I spent much sorrow and consternation thinking I owed a bunch of money to the IRS before it was found all the way at the end in the review.
