Software=good, eFiling server problems on 4/15=bad

I used H&R Block Deluxe for a number of years now. The software experience was good. However, I started trying to eFile (3) sets of returns on 4/14 when the servers were down so I lost a lot of time trying over and over again until it finally worked the afternoon of 4/15.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Software is great. Always easy and reliable. Latest electronic submission process is problematic and apparently does not handle extreme load well. If you wait near the deadline to submit it failed you

Really bad experience using the software. Had duplicate entries that didn't show up until I printed it. Would have cost me thousands if I didn't print it.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I always file taxes the last 2-3 days due to having to pay. This year the H&R Block server was backlogged due to high number of people filing. It took 6 hours before it eased up enough for my forms to go through.

Sometimes it asks for info or flags data that seems irrelevant (such as average mortgage balance on mortgage interest worksheet, which should be unnecessary); not easy to get explanation or help with providing value. Issues importing consolidated 1099 from Schwab.

I've used either Turbo Tax or HR Block for at least 15 years. For over the last 5, I've consistently used HR Block. For me, it's easier, has proven to be accurate, and I seem to complete my returns a little quicker and with more confidence. So, no reason to switch to something else.
