The issue with the Bad Gateway message that happened when I attempted to file on April 14th caused me anxiety and I had to spend unnecessary time making plans to get taxes filed in case issue was not fixed.!
Luckily issue was resolved but made me question the reliability of your product

Servers down. Cost me time & money.

Tried to efile return on Monday, April 15, 2024. Servers were down. Had to print, drive to my husbands office for his signature, then go to post office and pay postage to mail. Around 4 pm I tried to efile to see if it was working. It was 4pm my time and stated my return was accepted at 7:01 pm! Thanks for ruining my day and costing me money.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

This is second year that I have used the program to complete and e-file my return. Both years my e-file was rejected. Why use a program that does not deliver what is promised.

Great features, Poor execution.

The tax tool is great and easy-to-use. The most critical issue is your server crashed the last few days of tax returns. This causes me unnecessary stress of not knowing if I'll be able to file my taxes on time. As a major corporation, you know the same peak volume occur at the same time every year! Yet, you still let the server crashed. That's poor execution and key reason for me to seek other tax software next year.

I was mad that H&R Block software did not include Form 8911 (Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit). This is a major oversight and caused me to have to use FreeTaxUSA in order to do my taxes. The lack of Form 8911 should have been noted before I paid for the software. I have been using it for over 20 years so I considered myself a loyal customer. The credit I got with Form 8911 was $560.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
