Software easy to use, but online transmit issues

The software was easy to use. But when it came time to transmit my paperwork using the online method, there were major issues. I ended up sending my return in by printing and mailing (which cost me extra money and will significantly delay when I receive my tax refund).
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great experience, minus one star last year import

Would be a glowing 5 star review, ease of use, accuracy, optimised tax planning - EXCEPT until quite literally the 11th hour, it would not import their own return from last year, causing a great deal of manual re-importing and validation; to the point I even bought the TT product (but ended up filing with HRB).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

I used this program for several taxes I do for the family. I was really very disappointed that your system crashed the last day. I also use TurboTax as I have a number of people in the family I do taxes for. I ended up having to use my last TurboTax to redo one of the forms I had originally tried to send through your system. Your product is ok but what a disaster on the last day of filing.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

1) Both print and PDF formatted off the page; didn’t notice until after e-file submission to IRS. 2) Several amounts not carried forward from prior year return almost resulted in return errors not in my favor. Discovered during very careful review. 3) Inherited IRA RMD sections very convoluted and difficult to follow. 4) Had to manually override entries to claim donation of securities because some figures weren’t carried forward correctly. (The extent of the above issues have never been as much a problem during my prior usage of your software.)
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

I was able to generate my tax return but when it came time to efile, I kept getting an error that the software couldn’t connect to the server. I had to print and mail my return. Such a hassle.

I have previously always used TurboTax, but switched this year due to the H&R Block software being significantly cheaper. I was happy with the process of entering my tax information, but I was unable to file the evening of 4/14 or the morning of 4/15 and instead had to mail my return to avoid sending it late. This was very inconvenient and frustrating.
